In 2003 we introduced baseballs & softballs into our product line. It may have seemed like a curious decision after all, our name is Glovesmith not Ballsmith. But, we take the same approach to the balls as we do with the gloves. We produce a top quality product at the best possible price. You may be worried about experience. Glovesmith's founder and current owner was responsible for starting the current Major League baseball plant in Costa Rica. Not only did he start today's pro baseball plant for his previous company he ran their baseball engineering, and manufacturing departments for more than 10 years. So we have the experience but the reality of today’s baseball business is most balls are coming from just a few Asian factories. So our balls are coming down the same line as the major companies; but we can offer lower prices because of our low overhead. Why is our overhead lower? One reason, we don’t pay ten’s of thousands of dollars for state tournament adoptions. We have the NFHS balls that can be used during all high school games. Also, we don’t pay professional athletes to endorse our products again this conscious decision has helped keep our prices low. We are a small family owned company; this structure allows us to offer quality balls at excellent prices. There is no need to pay for the stamp on the outside, pay for what’s in the inside. We have worked hard to create a quality name for our custom ball gloves you can be assured that we are not going to let our baseballs and softballs hurt that name. Not all of our glove dealer’s carry our baseballs & softballs let us know if you have any problem finding them.
